EVENT DESCRIPTION: The 9th annual Mid Mountain Marathon, presented by Mountain Trails Foundation and Snyderville Basin Recreation, is a stunningly scenic single-track trail begins at just under 8100′ and peaks out at 8400′ as it traverses Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and The Colony before descending to the Canyons base area at 6800′.
This event is also part of the “Triple Trail Challenge” a 3-stage race that includes the Jupiter Peak Steeplechase, Park City Full or Half Marathon and Mid-Mountain Marathon. If you are participating in the Triple Trail Challenge, you must register under the Triple Trail Challenge event. DO NOT register for each event separately! You must register for the TTC BEFORE you start.
TIME & PLACE: Bib pickup starts at 6:45am at Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley Resort. Parking is available adjacent to the resort and underground. Race start is 8:00am. Awards will be held at 1:00pm in The Forum at Canyons. A drop bag station is available for anyone that would like gear at the finish line. Small grocery style bags are provided or you may use your own bag. A free shuttle is available to transport you back to the start at 12:00pm and run till 3:00pm.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: 26.2 miles on single track trail from Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley Resort to The Forum at the Canyons.
Marathon course closes at 2:00 PM. For your safety, we have set up a “free ride home” location. If you are not at The Colony located at mile 16 by 12:00 you will be asked to head back to the finish via sporadic vehicle transportation. If you choose to continue against our recommendations, you do so at your own risk, and will be asked for your bib.

AWARDS: An awards ceremony and raffle will begin at 1:00. Awards will be given for the top 3 overall male and female finishers.
